NOAH RUSHING TO HARDY RUSHING

Be it known to all men by these presents shall come show ye that I Noah Rushing of Anson County and State of North Carolina for and in consideration of Sixty five Dollars to me in hand paid at & before the sealing and delivering of these presents by Hardy Rushing of Anson County and State aforesaid the receipt whereof I do acknowledge myself contented and paid and thereof and every part thereof and parcel do exonerate and acquit and forever discharge the sd Hardy Rushing his heirs and assigns and admrs. forever and by these presents have given granted bargained sold aliened conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do freely and absolutely give grant bargain sell convey and confirm unto the sd Hardy Rushing his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract of parcel of land lying and being in the Anson County and State of North Carolina containing one hundred acres being as follows.

Beginning at a red oak sapling the West side of Little Brown Creek in William Johnsons upper line runs So. 10 West 120 poles to Robert Rushings line crossing the creek to a white oak then East 150 poles crossing a prong of sd creek to a stake then No. 10 E. 120 poles to William Rushings, Senr. line then West one hundred and fifty poles on his East line and William Johnsons line to the beginning.

Including and improvement surveyed 24 July 1782, to have and to hold the sd bargained premises together with all and singular the buildings appurtenances hereditaments belonging to the said land or in anywise appertaining hereto belonging unto the said Hardy Rushing his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of him the sd Hardy Rushing his heirs and assigns forever, and lastly I the sd Noah Rushing do hereby bind myself my heirs admrs. to warrant and forever defend the bargained premises against all manner of person or persons whatsoever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 17th of October 1803.
