In the name of God Amen I Solomon Rushing of the County of Anson and State of No Carolina faitvill District Being very sick and week in Body but in Perfect mind and Memory Thanks be given unto God calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing That hit is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain This my Last Will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all I Give and Recommend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave hit and my body I Recommend to the earth To be buried in decent Christian Burial at the discression of my Executor nothing doubting but at the General Resurrection I Shall Receive the same again by the Almighty Power of God and as Touching my worly Estate wherewith it Hath pleased God to Bless me In This life I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form-

First I desire all my last debts to be settled also I gave and Bequeath unto Elizabeth my dearly beloved Wife The Balance of my Estate for her Suppor During her natural life or Widowhood Then to be by my Executors and equally divided amongst my Children Excepting Mary Ann Rushing and Susanny Rushing and I do hereby gave unto them the sd. Mary Ann and Susanny the sum of five Shilling Sterling Each also I do want the Heirs of the sd Marry Ann and Susanny To demand and claim the share of their parents To Remain in the hands of the Executors and paid unto them as they become free men and Women To transact in their own Business and I do hereby declare This to be my Last will and Testaments freely To be possessed and enjoyed and I do hereby uterly Disallow Revoke and Disannul all and [e]very other former Testament Wills Leagacys Bequests and Executors by me in any way before named Willed and Bequeathed Ratifying and Confirming this and no other To be my Last Will and Testament In Witness whereof [I] Have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 20th day of October In the year of our Lord 1811
