OBITUARY

Alberta Allie Pearl Brasher was born on February 12, 1912 to the union of the late Will and Ann Boggan Shannon. She departed this life on Monday, July 9, 1990, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Barley Brasher. She was a member of Union Baptist Church and the Mother Board.

She was the loving and beloved mother of seven daughters, three sons and one step-son. One daughter, Anna Grenada Brasher and one son, Ocie Harold Brasher, Sr. preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

She leaves to cherish her memory, six daughters, Jessie Lee (William H.) Walker of Selmer, Tn., Willie May (Leroy) Walker of Selmer, Tn., Helen Louise Brasher of Bath Springs, Tn., JoAnn (John T.) Massengill of Henderson, Tn., Hazel Mar (David C.) Tole of Wilwaukee, Wi, and Linda Doris (Johnny L.) Tinsley of Bath Springs, Tn.; two sons, Joe Arthur (Brenda F.) Brasher of Indianapolis, In. and Booker Franklin (Ruby L.) Brasher of Bath Springs, Tn.; step-son, Coulas Brasher, I; daughter-in-law, Gloria; 28 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

INTERMENT: Union Cemetery
