MR. JOSEPH BERNARD FISHER, SR.,

DCTS/Crowder High School Reunion 2000

Mr. Joseph Bernard Fisher, Sr., (a.k.a. J. B. Jr.) is the son of the late J. B. Fisher Sr. and Anna Fisher of Parsons Tennessee. He is married to Dessie of 49 years and the proud parent of two sons; J.B. the third and Elder Joseph Fisher of Parsons; four gradchildren, Juan, Carissa, Cami and Jason.

  Mr. Fisher attended Parsons Elementary and Decatur County Training schools. He graduated from Merry High school in 1948. He is a graduate of Lane College, Jackson, Tennessee (‘52) and a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity.

  Mr. Fisher is Wishful Master of Beechgrove #99 of the Free and Accepted Masons. He was the Principal of Parsons Eastside Elementary School for 14 years and coached basketball at Crowder High School. He taught math and science for 24 years in the Milwaukee Public School system; served on Milwaukee's School Board of Directors for four years and as Board president for three years. He has been the active musician of the Baptist Church in Milwaukee for 55 years.

  Mr. Fisher, a native of Parsons, Tennessee is one of our own for whom we are very proud of for his contributions near and far.
