The Hamlett-Smith House

Two men measure the depth of this active gully on the
Will Smith farm in Chester County. The measuring rod
showed and 11-foot depth. Drawing below shows what
was done to control this gully.

This drawing shows a cut-away view of the earthfill embankment
and drop-inlet gully control structure.
