Austin Home - Dunbar, 1940

This picture was made about 1940 at the John James Austin home near the Red Walnut Church in the Dunbar community.  Verna Ellen Austin Partin was born there in 1893.   Verna Ellen Austin is the granddaughter of Romulus Swift / Sara Selina Paine and Ephraim Henry Austin / Lucy Ann Beauchamp.   All four lived in Scotts Hill.   Her parents are John James Austin and Mary Lucy Swift. They lived much of the time in Decaturville.  Verna Ellen Austin wrote the notes to the right on the back of the picture.
