THE CALL TO WORSHIP, Choir

THE LORD'S PRAYER, Unison Congregation

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name,
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread,
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil;
for Thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever.
Amen

THE SERVICE OF DEDICATION

Pastor: Almighty God, who didst put it into the hearts of these thy people to build this house for thy glory, and hast graciously enabled them to bring their purpose to fulfillment as of this day, accept now, we beseech thee, the praise of Thy people and give ear to their prayers.

In grateful acknowledgement of the goodly heritage into which we have entered, passed on to us by faithful men and women of by gone years, from whose example we have profited and into whose labors we have entered

People: We dedicate this house, O God.

Pastor: To the honor of Thy great name who art our Creator and Sovereign Lord, and who in Christ Jesus hast become to us both Redeemer and Father

People: We dedicate this house, O God.

Pastor: In recognition of Thy grace which hast brought us to thyself through the revelation of Thy Word and the sacrifice of Thy Son, and hast entrusted to us as a church the Stewardship of Thy gospel

People: We dedicate this house, O God.

Pastor: For purposes of worship, that within these walls those who draw nigh to Thee may know the reality of Thy promise that Thou also wilt draw nigh to them

People: We dedicate this house, O God.

Pastor: For the instruction of the young, the edification of the wavering, the correction of the erring, the consolation of the sad, and the salvation of the lost

People: We dedicate this house, O God.

Pastor: In humble desire that in this place Thy saving grace may be revealed so that to us the promise shall be fulfilled that "the glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former

People: We dedicate this house, O God.

Pastor: "But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built! Have respect therefore to the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O Lord my God, to hearken unto the cry and the prayer which thy servant prayeth before thee; that thine eyes may be open upon this house day and night, upon the place whereof thou hast said that thou wouldest put thy name there; to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant prayeth toward this place". II Chronicles 6:18-20

People: (To be sung)

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heav'nly host;
Paise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Amen
