Note the small size of the trees in the area. The photographer, Mary V. Moore, was Mary Viuna Gibson, daughter of J. W. C. Gibson and Ila Haywood Gibson. The Gibsons were one of the families displaced by the park. She married W. B. Moore of Decaturville, and this photograph was taken on their honeymoon.
